Padi Enriched Air Diver

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course is a 1 day training providing recreational divers with the knowledge needed to plan and execute recreational Nitrox dives. It consists of knowledge development, 2 practical application sessions and 2 optional Enriched Air training dives, taken from the boat or shore. We do ask that you complete 1 day recreational diving before taking this course to check weights, buoyancy and equipment.

By diving with enriched air rather than standard air, you can extend your no-decompression limits. This means more time underwater. For example, if you dive to 15 metres on air, your no-decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on EANx36 gets you 220 minutes of no-decompression time, an increase of 140 minutes.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty certification emphasises the theoretical and operational considerations involved with enriched air diving.

Prerequisites

• PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Minimum age: 15
